I can definitely tell the difference on big hits and bombing rock gardens, but I'm still not sure about the lateral stiffness. I am running lower pressure and I think that is skewing my perception.
@greentransmission8 жыл бұрын
A great trick I learned yesterday (from Carl at Corvallis Cyclery) is to remove your valve stem before inflating to seat the bead. Then when you pull the pump connector off cover the stem real quick with your finger and reinsert the valve stem (with a valve stem tool). This allows you to get a lot more air in quicker and easier to seat the bead.
@The_Sampler8 жыл бұрын
Yep that's a great one indeed, but only if you have a compressor to attach. When at the bike shop, I certainly remove the core to get tires seated.
@greentransmission8 жыл бұрын
No need for a compressor - we did it by hand with a floor pump - but of course a compressor helps! Great channel and videos!

I never got the tyre to sit properly with tubes on 29er trail/enduro/dh tyres, even when I used park tool tyre truing pliers, I used Bontrager se4 and Maxxis Highroller 2 , but when using tubeless, the tyres were straight straight away.but light xc tyres like Bontrager XR 1 Team issue 26 it worked fine with tube. but I think rim and tyre combination has something to do with it too. but I tried on a Bontrager duster rim and tubelss worked perfeclty, the tyre was straight, but not with a tube.

Have you thought about carbon vs the ammonium in the sealant?
