the bike shop fitted them for me but Jeez they are hard to get off and on! I think I'll just leave them on.

great bike BUT the side panel you removed to install the support for the side cases should be color coded imho

Thanks for the video! One question for clarification, even though it might be obvious. When you've installed the pannier holders the frame rear cover doesn't fit anymore. Means you cannot 'hide' the holders under the cover when riding without panniers. Without panniers you will always see these holders, right?

Yep, if you buy them after purchase, it's way less expensive to install them yourself. I got mine at purchase for the GT+ package, but due to supply chain issues they were shipped to the dealer a few months later for installation. I got an invoice just for documentation purposes, dealer charged 3 hours of labor, almost $500 including tax and materials. Naturally, they didn't charge me for the installation, but add the labor charge on top of the purchase price, if you're looking to buy one, pay the extra for the GT+ package at time of purchase. If you need the info, page 9D-108 of the official service manual has the instructions of removal of the frame rear cover. To remove the clips without tools, it says to press up on the bottom clip first, then the two clips at the top, then pull it off.
