how to install pascal program in vscode

Make sure you have free pascal installed first and you the path to the pascal compiler in your environment variables if your using windows 10....It didn't work for me until i set the path first.

Hey, First of all thanks for the vid but I still can't work with pascal files in my vscode. Even after installing all Extensions VSC still shows my files with .pas file extension as normal Text Files, no Highlighting with a 'P-Icon' like it is shown in your Explorer. I already tried most of the stuff to get it done, but even if I add the file extension .pas or .pp or .p or .... to the file associations it still doesn't work. You might have any idea how to fix it? Would be great because it feels pretty uncomfortable in lazarus or else IDE's ^^
