Often times we do not as we are printing for promotions. We certainly can, but we have also seen that laminating can cause issues of their own.

can it also be installed inside instead of outside? because outside can easily get vandalized

They make a product you can install on the inside of the glass but it's a lot hard to install. They also make a graffiti proof laminate and some other options.
