Contrary to everyone else’s opinion so far, I’ve had a great experience with these plates and installation was easy as long as you pay attention to what you’re doing. Console looks amazing on my entertainment center, and still performs great. Had the plates installed in 2-3 mins. Got em for Christmas and couldn’t be happier!

Careful at 4:25. Make sure ALL of the hooks on the left are hooked in. I damaged my darkplates on this step. I was able to bend the hooks back into place, though.

@@superNova5837 not really, dbrand has the grey colour already for the fat ps5 plates, and they could easily just provide good quality stickers for their logo and wherever we place it is up to us. Sony cant trademark colours of a sticker

Because of the big gap in the middle of the ps5 pro. These plates will not fit. As it's all in one piece. The playstation slim plates are in 4 parts. So they can be placed above and below the gap. Make sense? ​@@husklo

@@huskloPlayStation Japan literally put out a poster showing which plates are compatible with which console and the Slim plates are not compatible with pro on that poster. Lester in PlayStation addressed this and said they will make plates for the pro in the future and people further confirmed it by trying out their slim plates on the pro and only the bottom ones fit. So please delete your comments of misinformation

Side vents are a big no no to the ps5. The side walls are designed to direct air to all the internal parts, having a hole at the side will cause some of the air to escape through the vents and reduce the total volume of the air directed.

It's recommended to use a hair dryer to bond the adhesive to the plastic but not necessary. It'll just start to peel after a few years if you don't

Sony will reuse the same split design in the ps5 pro. therefore unifying limited edition. No matter what u have ps5 slim or pro any plates will fit both even tho the ps5 pro will be a tad taller (extra height will be covered by the stripes between the split) So dbrand will have to make a new design once ps5pro rolls out while sony will purpose the same plates for both versions
