How to Install Push Button Start on Mercedes

If you don't have the button and want to Start The Engine with your key in your pocket, you just put your finger in there and as you put it there push the tooth inside and now you can just put your finger all the way and it will start. No need for Programming your finger.

If your car is a different model, you may have to get it programmed. I’m not 100% sure. I would look for a local MB repair shop nearby and call and ask. They may tell you on the phone or help you out inexpensively

I don’t think that would work because you still need your actual key inside the car. The push button just allows you to start the car when the key is in your pocket.
