mine said white space not allow here on pycharm how do i fix it

I have installed PyCharm Community Edition 2024.3 on my Windows 10 laptop. From 'Welcome to PyCharm' display, I select 'New Project' and I am getting ‘White spaces not allow here’ and the ‘Create’ button is deactivated. I do not have any space in my project name which is ‘HelloWorld’ like in your video. Please advise how to resolve this issue?

Yea.. its a bug. You can refer it here: youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/PY-77413/Path-for-new-new-project-cannot-contain-whitespaces-in-PyCharm-2024.3 Hope fully they will be fixing it soon. One thing u can try is, create this project in some location which donot contain any white space in the entire folder path.. not just for the project name. entire path.

Hello, I now have PyCharm Community Edition 2024.3.1 and the white space issue has been fixed.

Same issue while opening new project it just getting white space is not allowed

instead of space use underscore _
