I hate this goddamn thing, I've been struggling with it since yesterday. I do everything exactly as in this and other videos, and nothing ever works with my setup. After running "npm start", I never get the damn screen at 8:10. It just loads a page that says "Index of/" with links to all the work files. I'd love to know why the hell it does something different instead of showing the same screen as in the video if I'm doing everything exactly the same way as in the video.. Still, I figure I need to open "/public" and it does show the preview for "index.html", but it only renders changes to this .html file, and nothing in the App.js file ever renders, even though it should be rendering on the element present in index.html. I'm beyond frustrated with this software.
