when i took out the 2nd (inner) cicuit board to replace the xyba buttons, 2 little white rubber rectangular pieces fell out. where did that come from? dit: i see where they came from. but mine arent wedged in at all. they are really loose. not sure how i will get them to stay as i try to reinstall everything

Yes it will, as long as you buy the correct button set as talked about in the video the concepts are all basically the same.

Edit: nvm.What if you only need to replace the d-pad to a new one (not eleite) and do the same to xyba and the pause and the button across from it. Would you still need to do all these steps

Omg you glued it? Stick it in that little slot and screw that back bars in tight. The button and mic will stay. No way and I hit gluing it sorry lol. Great video tho for the tear down aspects. You could use a little practice tho 👍🏻

I tighten the 3 screws on the larger board first about halfway. Then slide the button in and finish screwing it down while pinching the board. Trust
