I had these from Motea and let the bike slide from the side stand. It hits the primary…!! Does this OE one protect the primary when it lays on its side????
@SinisterClutch20 күн бұрын
@@Dirk1961-l7y Yes it does! I dropped my bike in gravel and not a scratch on it.

So once you install the new guards. The bolts under the seats had a rest for the seat. Do you not run those anymore?
@SinisterClutch4 ай бұрын
@@davidorozco2739 Yeah I actually decided to use them but you don’t have to.

I see you have the Saddlemen Road Sofa with the saddle bag guards installed. I just recently put a Road Sofa on my 24 Street Glide, I also have saddle bag guards and I can't quite get the seat to go far enough forward on the front bracket because of the seat hitting on the saddle bag guards. Did you have any issues with that? Nice video Thanks, 😎

@@michaelroy925 No I don’t have any issues like that. Did you utilize the seat bracket that I mention in 3:10? I actually decided to use mine.

I always seem to get the products that don't fit just right, ughh 😅

I'm gonna do my Best to get the seat farther on the tank. Thanks
@SinisterClutchАй бұрын
@@michaelroy925 Maybe it’s just not all the way up on that tongue from the gas tank? I bend the seat a little by putting pressure on it as I move it towards the gas tank and then let it rest wear it bolts in the back.

Good job I would never run without those. My bags get close enough to the ground lol

What's the trick getting two rear bolts there's no room to pull bolts out
@SinisterClutch11 ай бұрын
So at 1:43 in the video I mention the size of each bolt and nut and proceed to show how I do it. I use a standard wrench for the nut and socket for the bolt. Don't be afraid that you'll touch the fascia where there is no paint. It is flexible and will assist you in getting the bolt out. The key is as you turn the nut start to push the bolt out away from the saddlebag support bracket. Hope this helps and let me know if you have more questions.

Let you know how it works out I'll try tonight thanks
