How To Install SCS Compression on Stunt Scooters

What a great video! I have been searching for one like this for weeks! I was worried I would have never been able to find a video like this but thanks to you guys I did! Now my scooter is dialed and running just like when I got it!

so lets say i ordered an Oversized inner instead of regular and its too big for my deck now, or my compression or whatever, would i need a SCS to solve this issue? im still learning scooters.

Hi Bato! First of all it is important to say, that all bars fits with all decks - it is a question about the compression type. If you bought an oversized bar, then it is designed for HIC compression. If it does not fit, my best recommendation is to return it and get a bar that is made for the right compression. If you really want the specific bar, you will need to change fork to a matching compression-system. If your fork is IHC, then it does not solve it to buy a SCS clamp :)

What if I have thread less forks? A cap can't screw in. Do I even need a cap? I am wondering as I just bouts my parts.

+crazydesignerone it depends on your fork :-) You might need a starnut, cap and a bolt, so please contact us on [e-mail] and we will help you out with finding the right parts.

If your fork can’t thread in a big bolt like in the video then you need to use an cap and bolt. If your fork has no threads in it they you need to install a starnut and thread in a cap and bolt

The fork is supposed to sit halfway in the clamp and there is a little lip and if it doesn’t touchthat then you need spacers

@@half_bris_ not true if it does touch that you need spacers. You always want it a bit lower that the lip so the cap can sit on the lip and the bolt can reach in the fork compressing your scooter

Nope. All u do is slide the fork through the deck and put the top bearing in, and then I just move the fork around and the bearing just falls into the deck

Hi Olly. You can't do that on a lucky prospect 2018 Stunt Scooter because the SCS compression type is not integrated with this scooter (fork and bar). Well... Sometimes you'll need a SCS converter. It depends on your bar and you'll also need a SCS clam, if you are not already rocking an SCS setup.
