Great video. Can you make a list of the Sena products you need to buy to do this? Id like to do it, but its a little unclear which Sena stuff I need to buy

Sorry, just seeing this comment. This link should work: www.treestuff.com/sena-integrated-communication-system-diy/ I believe this is what you want but call treestuff and ask to make sure it’s a standard smh 10 unit before you place the order. They have pretty good customer service, although it’s sometimes hit or miss since sherill tree bought them out.

had to watch about 5 of these until I got one that actually showed someone doing it :) great video all around! been a long time super plasma user so I'm excited to see how the protos fits

I think you’ll like the change. It’s weird at first but they are nice. Use small zip ties for the head band pad (front), they come out on their own and the cost $30 to order replacements!

so just a question, why Sena over Cardo?
@blueoakats4 ай бұрын
I learned about SENA early on and have stuck with them. I’ll look into Cardo, because I do want to know alternatives. There have been a few things with the SENA company that have left me unimpressed. Overall their product has helped us stay safe and it’s been reasonably affordable.

ive had terrible experiences with the boom mics. They usually have to be pretty much inside my mouth to pickup decent audio. That low profile mic works even from that far away???
@blueoakats6 ай бұрын
Yes it works as long as people project their voice. Better than the boom mics I think

@@blueoakats I've must have great noise cancelling ability because me and another need to communicate while using a very loud chipper. We've used Sena mics before, and were was very impressed how the mics' noise cancellation ability. However, the mics were boom type and were placed very close to the mouth, as per directions. Am curious, do you get the same great noise cancelling with the low profile mic placed under the front helmet hood? Thanks for making the video; I'll be using it to help me install my Sena Work4 comms into to Pfanner helmets.

does the 3m sickie pad ever come off?
@blueoakats Жыл бұрын
Not sure exactly what you mean, but the ear muff pads don’t come out. The head band pads however do come out on their own over time. I used small zipties for my helmet to keep from losing it.
