We have been installing your thermostats in a large church. They love them not only do they add the flexibility of a wall stat but the guy in charge of maintenance can see what was turned up or down and can bring them right back to the schedule. Everything was going fine until we had to control 4- 3 ton wall units in the sanctuary. Opposite wall was not an option as it is 80 feet away and underneath the units couldn't get the signal. Nothing but open space with pews. Question is can I use an IR repeater with your unit and if so is there one you recommend?

My mini split makes a beep every time the remote is used - would one of these things make the beep every time it changes something?.. At the moment the mini split is using the internal thermistor and the mini split is processing that data and calculating when to increase or decrease power etc. Would one of these remote type devices be able to act as that internal thermistor - where all the actual data processing still happens in the mini split - it still decides what to do - it's just using the thermostat in the remote device instead of the internal thermistor - and everything else is identical?.. Or will the programming to increase/decrease power etc all be done in the remote device - and it sends signals to turn up and down the temp like as if I were pointing the remote at it and pressing buttons?..

Hi, If your mini-split lets you stop the beep sound, our device can do that too. As for your other question, the mini-split will still handle the actual data processing. But our device will make decisions based on your preferences, like when to turn the AC on or off, adjust the temperature, etc. Then, it will send signals to your mini-split to carry out those actions.

Like every 10 seconds the device beams the thermistor temp to the mini split?.. That is how Wi-Fi external thermostats work I think, they either send the temp data direct to the mini split, or it goes through the router to the mini split. But this remote device doesn't use wi-fi, so I doubt it would be able to do the same thing. How would the mini split know to use the thermistor in the device instead of the internal one?.. I haven't found a way to stop the beep, it's not in the manual.

My Cielo Breez plus, does not turn off the AC when the desired temperature is reached. I set it to 75 and when it goes to 70 the unit still cranks cold air for hours. How does this make sense. The compressor outside should at least turn off and the indoor blower should still be on. Does anybody else experience this? I don't know how a wall thermostat could be called a thermostat if it can't process a simple and expected command.
