I'm confused when you say to "path it". The file path automatically fills when you double click the xedit.exe during install. Then you write -sse in arguments .

Great, I have installed it correctly... How to I do literally anything beyond that point I don't know. This videoplay list had "how to install" and skips to something called merge Patches.

Is there a way to setup xEdit to be able to be able to compile scripts for Fallout 4? I'm avoiding the Next-Gen update for mod compatibility reasons using GOG version control, but I'm concerned the Creation Kit for Fallout 4 doesn't have the same version control, and FO4Edit has been much better for me than the Creation Kit for the kinds of small patches I've been making to adjust the game and mods.

@GamerPoets is there a tutorial on how to install reshade for mod organizer2? I tried a few things but nothing seems to work with Fallout 4. the reshade overlay comes up when I launch the game with Steam but not with MO2.

Im trying to set up SSEedit for a modlist I installed from Wabbajack there's a few basic mods im trying to flag as an ESL, but everytime I try to set up SSEedit in Mo2 I get the "SSEedit cache for SSEedit does not exist" know how I might fix this? Edit: Nvm I am stupid, the mod author had the "Adjustments to mods are stored in X mod instead of overright" box checked, I just had to make my own blank mod in MO2 and enable it then set that mod to where SSEedit stores caches and now it works. I spent a whole day trying to figure this out once and ended up solving it in 5 minutes lol thanks for the guide though it was by far the best I've seen out of every other one out there.

I just installed sseedit for the first time yesterday. I'm having a problem with an outfit. NPC's think I'm naked. I was told to change the keyword to torso and have watched sooo many videos but I don't understand and frankly, I'm scared I'll screw something up. I know you said there'll be more videos coming for xedit and I'm wondering if you could do a tutorial on that. Btw I'm using vortex. Thank you so much for your videos!

Might want to check/ask on the xedit discord. Xedit should work fine with gog (I prefer gog when I have the option).

it is sadly not compatible with non steam versions of the games its made for which sucks so i have to wait for a epic games compatability patch until them ima have to figure out a way to grab mod IDS on my own
