Tight corner, sign of a good job minimal fastener and you'd literally have to destroy it to open it up. I have never seen that detail on the outside face, thanks for sharing great work

I never liked exposed fasteners , final product looks much better . I learned a lot from older guys and take pride in my work 😎🔨

Thanks for the video. I'm just doing my first year in commercial sheet metal and learned lots from my previous foreman, but unfortunately, he has left and started his own business. Good luck to him. Just started to learn corner and more videos on other stuff would be helpful

I will be making more videos soon , life just got bit busy atm.

There's a few things I'd changes on his methods but I'd hire him in an instant
@diyasmrprojects8642 Жыл бұрын
Thank you. What would you change ? I am always open to learning new ways of doing metal .

For the inside corner on the 1" 1/2 don't cut the drip right off trim so you take the back side off so you're next pice locks in with the drip also I couldn't tell if you did a ratstail on the outside drip
@kyledup Жыл бұрын
Also I'd have done a 3/4 standing seam first instead of 1"1/2 and put down a top clip in the middle to tie that corner tight

I like how you lock the face. Don't see that often.

Watching this cause I work on a brake making this and other flashing. Wanted to see how it was installed.
@diyasmrprojects86422 жыл бұрын
When shop guy know how we install , it makes easier for both of us . I usually brake my own metal , but there was times when I just installed .
