For the older models, STREET TWIN 900, on the left hand side the pipe from the catalytic Converter to the muffler it doesn't have a fixed bracket to the chassis so once the muffler is removed the pipe its not properly supported , can you add a bracket that can be installed on the from the rubber bumper of the side stand to the chassis of bike?

I bought these tips and I noticed the same thing. I don’t think it’s a big deal but my left side pipe is loose and shakes. Any solution to this?

@@spectrophobia1 you have to make a braket yourself, there is a piece of rubber bump stop were the side stand stops once you put it up on the left exhaust pipe, remove it and make a bracket from there to were the exhaust muffler was attached to the frame. They should include this bracket for previous models. You have then to me creative to put a piece of rubber as a stop for the side stand.

So assuming I’m ok without passenger pegs for a while, I can just take the slip on off and ride around and see if I like the sound before ordering the tips and committing to it? I think I will order these. Will also make chain maintenance way more convenient with the stock exhaust out of the way.

So, funny story. I put Tec slip ons on my ST last year. Went for a ride last weekend, stopped for a rest, and one of them was GONE. Following Wednesday, today, I am installing these on my bike and dang it sounds bad ass without mufflers.

I bought the slash cut tip for my Triumph Street Twin and can say that it sounds amazing now. Now I'm about to change the sprocket kit and I need to decide between 17 teeth JT with dampener or the 17 teeth Superlite (no dampener). What do you guys from BC recommend?
