Hello people.. A new version of xenia canary fixes all of the crashes.. That is if u are on an amd gpu.. nvidia gpus still crash the game sometimes but the whole thing is alot more stable now Link for canary: github.com/xenia-canary/xenia-canary/releases

You don't you have to. If you don't want to go to settings and find automatically delete mods from the game turn it off then you don't have to open it through the mod loader.

in windmill isle act 2 fail the second trick jump that should prevent the game from crashing and I recommend that you use the 100% save file (instructions included) link is in the description hope that helps

also, turn off the 2x resolution from the mod loader if your game crashes on startup and turn off v-sync and if you face problems with physics or controls turn on V-Sync

I mean you can do that.. I ain't 100% sure if this will work or not but.. extract the iso, take the mod files and paste it into the game folder.. and then find a Xbox 360 iso compiler then compile the game and that should work.. How do I actually get the ISO file of Sonic Unleashed from my Xbox? Because when I extracted the game, it came in a folder just called "content." In the video, the game comes as a visible file, but not invisible in a folder. I know this video is about how you're supposed to use mods for Sonic Unleashed, but I haven't really found a place where I can get help on how to even get the game onto my pc properly.

You need to locate to the folder in which you extracted and select the "default.xex" file. If it's not working open a ticket in my discord as I would need some screenshots to help you out

I try to launch unleashed trough the mod manager, however I get an "disk error" whenever I try to open it. I can obviously play the save file if I launch the game normally through xenia canary, however I am not able to launch the game through the mod manager.

Is it normal that after "Save, install content and launch Unleashed" or "Launch Sonic Unleashed" the emulator starts up and then immediately closes? And to open it you need to click on "Launch Sonic Unleashed" 2+ times and then select the game in the emulator.

no its not the game should open without issues from the mod loader itself have you added all the files in the same way I have done it in the video because if you don't have the game exe file located xenia will crash

Mods aren't supported by the mod loader.. just place the mod files in the sonic unleashed extracted iso folder and click replace files

Yeah one of the files for jungle joyride is missing.. you can just re-extract the iso and if that's not working try another iso

@@IconicStudiosTheAnimator hey, yeah, it's ok. I know not to expect great performance.. I'm on an older i7, 6700k,32gb RAM and gtx1080ti. After I've played through an area with asynchronous shaders using the Vulkan backend and relaxed culling, it runs pretty well.. Stuttering is nearly eliminated on subsequent playthroughs. I got dlc to work with it as well.. Mods are working...I just wanted to play it on Xenia and since Sonic 06 runs so well on Xenia and they're both running on The Hedgehog Engine, I figured it'd ruin just as good. The main reason I switched to rpcs3 for this game, besides trying to get it running is it's recommended to use the PS3 version over at gamebanana since it's more stable. At this point I have to concur. I'll give it another whirl. Perhaps my game rip is bad.

I installed it corectly but when i downloaded xenia unleahed, shadow unleashed, and ps3 buttons mod and enables them and saved them the shadow and ps3 buttons mod just disables it by themselfs and only the xenia unleashed mod doesnt do that

No I mean that some mods are kinda broken with the mod loader so you need to cut the mod files from the mod folder and paste them in your extracted iso. Then run default.xex in xenia or use the mod loader it should be working

so im using xenia skyth swa hack build and it crashes when i try to play it btw im not using a %!00 save file and xenia says it makes a crash dump in the folder then i have to exit the game and this also happened with xenia canary and xenia master i dont know if its the mods im using but i dont think it is

The skyth build only runs the day stages wo crashes.. you need the 100% save file

@@IconicStudiosTheAnimator just don’t click x2 resolution, if you want to higher the resolution do it through the xenia config file that you can edit with notepad I’ve found that trying the x2 through Unleashed mod manager will give you an error if you don’t do it through there you should be fine
