Why did you add the SSD on the caddy as secondary. Make SSD primary replacing hdd and placing hdd instead in the caddy. You won't get any performance increase if you make SSD secondary.

Well i myself have inserted or have put the 240GB Kingston SSD in the place of my original & primary 1 TB HDD & have placed the HDD with caddy by removing the DVD-writer that was not working properly in my 4 year old system. I myself wanted to have a 480GB SSD for a long term use but due to shortage of my budget i had to opt now with 240GB & it is true it works little faster than the HDD.

make another video, where placing SSD in SATA interface of 2.5 inch bay(inside) instead of CD-DVD r/w slot as HDD hardly saturate SATA 2 even SATA1 and though entry level cheap SSD easily saturate SATA2, might SATA3 (upto 600 MB/s or 6 Gbits) and in CD-DVD slot, SATA-1 will be available, so not such use of full potential of SSD.

Yes, that's ideal, you can check SATA capacities for both the slots. The one where your HDD lies, has 6GBps SATA3. The one with the CD/DVD has SATA2 or 1 (3 or even 1.5GBps). So, it's better if you place the new SSD in current slot of HDD. Anyway, HDD's R/W speeds aren't great, so SATA 1,2 in CD/DVD drive is fine.

I didnt need to use optical drive for installing SSD. My laptop hardware has a dedicated m.2 SSD slot which I figured out later. So installed SSD on m.2 slot.
