How to Install Texlive and Texmaker in Linux Mint

sudo apt-get install texlive-full : To install Texlive.
sudo apt-get install texmaker : To install Texmaker.

Thank you for giving the lecture on how to install TexLive and Texmaker in Linux Mint. Just one question though. My installation is way out of date - for example, it installed version 0.1b of make4ht, but I need version 0.3l or at least one that allows the use of the command-line option -f. I need to type the command make4ht -f odt filename.tex, but I cannot do that. Do you know how to upgrade my TexLive to a newer version. My package manager on Linux Mint does NOT know where make4ht is, which is just a text file. It doesn't view it as a package.
