Unrelated to my first comment. This video is what I miss most about old paintball vs modern paintball. Being able to play around with parts and settings back in the day with Autotockers, Automags, Angels etc was one of the best parts of paintball. Seeing someone roll in with something you had not seen before. Just talking with why someone has the components they do and the settings they have etc. Modern markers now are just tubes with minimal tinkering and modification by comparison.

You are not lying! Back in the day stuff that people would show up with. I saw a 98 custom that a kid had managed to get a digital grip from either an angle or first gen shocker to work and it ripped!!sorry can’t remember exactly, was over 17 years ago.😥

This to me just looks like a AKA tornado valve. They are the ones that started the LP thing. LP just made the gun a gas hog, and less reliable. Not sure why what you miss about paintball is marketing gimmicks. When I was in college, I funded my paintball by buying cockers people ruined by believing in marketing gimmicks. Fixing them up, and selling them. I think a lot of people quit paintball after wasting so much money on these type of things. 90%+ of them weren't even as good as stock.

Just want to add, WGP trilogies are 11/16 valves.

How close is this in comparison to the alien morph valve ?

I havent seen anyone anywhere post a long term review or what they got out of this valve yet.

Actually I'm not sure about that I know my older 2k1 and 2k4 black magics are 9/16 valves but I think the 2k5 ( they were select fire frame and mid block bodies and I know trilogies 11/16 I'm using a Lazarus valve in my Empire Resurrection (another factory 11/16 autococker) with one of angry paintballs delrin bolts and it completely changed the way the marker feels. I was able to lower the pressure quite a bit and the felt recoil is lower aswell with the spring changes I was able to make.

I'm surprised that there isn't an integrated front block, eliminating the need for hoses.
@yourpbtv9 ай бұрын
Yeah but imo it takes away the classic auto cocker look
@reignick11339 ай бұрын
To have a fully pneumaticly integrated front block would be a system locked into very specific parts. You could not swap out parts.

@@reignick1133 It could be a removable manifold style block.

@@Technotranceism even then if you go hoseless you only really have one locked ecosystem. Not to say it can't be a legitimate upgrade, but the costs will be higher, if a seal breaks it will be much more of a pain in the rear to fix, and you're locked into that one ecosystem

@@Technotranceism if you want a modern marker? Buy a modern marker. Zero shame in such. I collect and run Autocockers and automags, but for modern conveniences? I bought a Macdev Prime XTS and their GT2. These to are about as modern as you get and I run such for tournaments, the cockers and mags come out for rec play and mech tournaments.
