How to Install the Cardo Edge on your Helmet ( Full Install )

This was super helpful for my RPHA 12 that I just got, thank you! Your cable routing strategy was really good. I was able to use a plastic spudger from my iFixIt kit to do the same thing. I personally used the clamp mount though instead since that was able to fit and feel secure just fine.

How about the stock ear pad of the helmet? Do you reinstall it after finish all?

no you have to remove it to accommodate for the speakers.

the helmet that i installed this on is the HJC Rapha 11 pro. the sound is ok but gets alot better when you change out the speakers to better ones and get the helmet amp then its actually very good. I dont have a good audio mic to record the quality of sound thats why i didnt add it in the video. review video is coming soon.

I have exactly same helmet and ordered a Cardo Packtalk Edge a few days ago. I have a question for installing. Are you happy with the place of microphone? Do side chin vents effect microphone quality?

not that i know of, but will say this that this helmet is very noisey once you pass 40mph

I didn’t put the mic as you did. The microphone in the position u said to put it, the mic was very uncomfortable for my moustache 😂

I tend to break things by accident when it comes to "careful force." This damn clamp that's attached to the cradle won't budge!! I see which direction it's supposed to go but the damn thing won't move.

I used rubbing alcohol on my matte black helmet and it left permanent marks don’t suggest using it if you have matte finish helmet
