The wrench is important because it is the vital tool you need to tighten the camera into place at the desired direction you want the camera to point.

The wrench is only necessary to keep the camera in place. Unlike any other tripod mount screw this tripod mount screw has a hole in the back. A hole in the shape of a hex head wrench. So you can spin your camera around the screw until it is tight but to ensure the camera is seated tight and pointed forward (not up or on any awkward angle that does not point forward at your subject) you point the camera forward in the desired final direction and use the wrench to tighten the screw. Otherwise your camera (with the mounting screw) will spin freely inside the rectangular black block that attaches to the mask.

good video man, but i feel like the camera you are using sticks out a bunch.....have you had any problems getting shot in it when hiding and the camera sticks out?

No. I'm hard to get as it is. However, I just don't dig first person cameras on a whole. The mount of the Dye i5 is slowly changing me mind for this specific type video experience. I'll use them for my commentary vids as my users seem to demand them. The 360 camera IS BIG and that one has not been shot either. We'll see.

Come out to OnTargetPaintball's COG scenario this weekend. Or to OXCC's the following weekend. You can tangle with me personally. I'll be on the Horde side this week and German side the following. But honestly... to call me cocky is to NOT know me. I just play the game it's meant to be played. Somehow that's bothered you? I shoot videos for NEW players. I play with intermediates. It's the n00bs I have on my side. The people I shoot off the field are 90 percent intermediate to advanced. And when I play rec ball at my local field, I sit out many games as I don't get any joy in shooting up new players. WTF is your problem anyway? For 15 years I've been playing. Even by accident I'd get better if that's your argument. I mean what the F is your point? Again, if you think I'm cocky, you are wrong and if it means that much too you, come play against me. Seriously if you just want to toss insults because you are mad I exist then you need counseling.

It is NOT possible to convert an i4 with the mount from the i5. However, there are ways to after-market engineer any mask with a side mount with items you can purchase from Amazon. I now shoot as much 360 paintball video as I do 4k etc... The 360 camera's are huge and cause too much stress for the i5 factory mount. I've got my own solution running for 360 and larger cameras in general. Go that route. :-)
