I got an iircade gold and the grs control panel. Would it be easier to wait for the viper and install both at once or should I just put the ultimate panel in now?

I was wondering the same thing on my OG Retromania cab. I have my replacement deck but would rather do it all at once when the viper gets released

Since the amp you installed is louder that is awesome , but is there some way to add a subwoofer to give the cab some great base ? and I need info on that LED marquee !

Good question, a sub out would have been a great addition to the AMP. There is a way to add a sub on the legacy cab using the HDMI out, but it would have been nice to have native support here.

It all depends on the ROM and emulator But if you ever used Retropie it's the same setup

I watched the video and just to make sure I heard right Glen Planamento states that if we have the Viper SBC we don’t need to include the mystery coder usb enabler because his board come included with that. Does that mean that we would be able to backup our entire Iircade game library onto Glen’s Viper SBC like we could on the Mystery Encoder usb enabler? Also if our amp on the Iircade are still working good do we still need to disconnect it in order to attach the amp that comes built into the Viper SBC or can we just leave it disconnected until the Iircade’s stops working?

If u need to back up your classic unit .. u do need the team Encoder board

How easy is it to integrate that Bitpixel marquee you have on your unit ? Also will you have an interface to completely bypass the iircade Sbc and just connect the viper board ?

The iiRcade board is not needed. It will always boot into viper mode. More on the bit pixel soon.

Yes u can. On bootup it defaults to Viper so u never need the iiRcade board

The GRS VIPER switcher was designed to work with the GRS iiRcade Ultimate Control Panel. I am sure people will be able to work around it.
