How to Install the Pedestal on Your Whirlpool Washing Machine

Congratulations on the purchase of your new Whirlpool washing machine. Let's take a look at how to install it.
Here are some of the tools you'll need:
• 1 1/4" Hex Head or Open Wrench
• 9/16" Open End Wrench
• 5/16" Hex Head Ratchet
• 1/4" Nut Driver
• Pliers
• A Level
• Utility Knife

Your video and list of tools had me confused...maybe it's the language lol The first bullet needs to remove the "1".... in the video and above. It described using an open ended wrench to tighten the feet but used what I would call box wrench but it definitely wasn't an open ended wrench. All that trivial stuff aside, a very helpful video. I want to remove the pedestal before my installers get rid of my Duets.

the hinges on my pedestal are totally messed up making opening and closing the drawer nearly impossible. I wish they had showed how to attach the hinge to the back of the drawer unit. Also, how to get the ball bearings lined up correctly.

If manufacturer would cut a large circle in the top of the drawer unit, one could remove the drawer, and slide under and make simple repairs.
