Thanks for the kind works!! We certainly try to treat customers like we'd like to be treated. Most people know but just in case it isn't obvious... we are all cnc enthusiasts at PwnCNC.

Very cool. The ATC should be a game changer.

That thing looks amazing. Did you ever use the makita when starting out? If so, what point or limitation did you hit before moving to a spindle? Im still early on in using my foreman with makita, but the ATC looks like a game changer. I figure I'd put mine through the paces before upgrading.

I used a Makita router on my Shapeoko Pro XXL before i got my Elite Foreman, and it did a fine job for me. But with the Onefinity Elite, the trim router just can’t take advantage of the added functionality of the Masso controller. You’ll do fine with it though, just go a little conservative on your feeds and speeds. Run it for 6 - 12 months and you’ll have a much better idea of what works best for your type of projects.

My ELITE should be shipping in a couple weeks. Time to get a couple projects lined up to pay for the ATC next.

I know what you’re going through, anxiously awaiting those final few weeks until you can actually put your hands on that new Elite! Hang in there, it’ll be there before you know it. You have your CNC table ready yet?

@MitchellsWoodwork Yeah, had a guy fab one up out of tube steel. Cost me about the same as buying a Kreg kit and the wood to beef it up.

A little off topic for this clip but I am following your lead by purchasing the Kreg 64x64 table for my Onefinity CNC. Do you still have the castors on? I notice a bit of shimmy and am wondering if you have any trouble or if you may have removed them for stability? Love the content and appreciate all you share with us. thanks...
@MitchellsWoodwork7 ай бұрын
Hi Jon, that’s a great question. There is indeed a slight shimmy when the machine is running. But honestly, it’s more noticeable on camera than in real life. I do still have the Kreg casters on mine (and they’re excellent, by the way) but I rarely lock them down because there’s very little discernible difference in shimmy either way. I have to move my setup any time I need to get behind it, which is basically daily, for one reason or another. So it’s just easier for me to leave them unlocked. But I don’t think the casters are the issue. I think it’s more due to the nature of my setup. My table is very top heavy, with well over 300 lbs sitting on top of it. The 67” x 67” x 3/4” mdf top, plus the QCW wasteboard, CNC, and 20 lb. spindle is a lot of weight for a table of this type to support. I did attempt to stabilize my table early on, and it did help reduce the shimmy, but it didn’t eliminate it like I had hoped. You can watch the video at the link below. Great Video. With the addition of the Pwn Atc Spindle, do you have the Z-Slider drop issue when powered down due to the spindle being so heavy? I didn't know about this until about 4 weeks after placing my order for the 1-F Elite Foreman and the Pwn Atc. In a panic, I ordered the Braking Z-Slider Stepper Motor. It arrived with my E-1-F on June 21st. Whoo Hooo😂 Down the rabbit hole I go. Lol I'm mostly just curious if the braking stepper is needed. I'm still waiting for Pwn to send me that Magic Email with a tracking number😢 Thanks for all you do!
@MitchellsWoodwork7 ай бұрын
Funny you mentioned that, because I NEVER had a problem with my original 80mm spindle dropping, but this new ATC spindle drops every time. I weighed them both and they’re practically the same weight (right at 20lbs each), so it’s not a weight issue. I’ll be discussing this in my next video, hoping to find out why it’s happening. I also got the braking Z motor from Onefinity last week, but haven’t installed it yet.
@KZ-11557 ай бұрын
Hmm? Maybe the new spindle is a couple of ounces more, and the old was right at the tipping point? Like the little birdie in the old cartoons. Lol The Braking Stepper solves the issue, and it leaves us with a spare (just in case) Or can be used for Rotary or other...
@MitchellsWoodwork7 ай бұрын
I weighed them both on bathroom scales and there was little to no distinguishable difference in the weight, but common sense would dictate that the ATC spindle should weigh a bit more due to the added pneumatic enclosure at the top. But yes, it's always nice to have a spare stepper. Thanks for your feedback!

Hope to see some more videos of your ATC up and running soon. There aren't a lot of videos showing off this awesome system. It's probably mostly due to cost. It's a very expensive add-on. There are cheaper systems out there, but after many sleepless nights researching, I like PWN the most. I am still impatiently waiting for my ATC & Spindle. It's been 7 weeks since I ordered.😭 How long after you ordered, did it take yours to get delivered? Thanks for your time!
@MitchellsWoodwork7 ай бұрын
(Psssst…. don’t tell anyone… but I finished the ATC install today! 😉 Besides the great quality of their products, the best thing about PwnCNC is the customer service and service after the sale. They’re in a league of their own and you’ll never regret doing business with them. When I ordered my Onefinity Elite and PwnCNC spindle kit on April 11, 2023, the projected shipping date was 16 ~ 20 weeks! I received everything the second week of August. The shipping delay is MUCH less now, and trust me when I say, they’ll get your order out the door as soon as humanly possible.

Do you need a separate Air Compressor?
@MitchellsWoodwork2 ай бұрын
It really depends on your shop setup, I suppose. If you already have an air compressor (8 gallon or larger) near your cnc, you should be ok just running a dedicated line to the ATC.
