It's not normally a foot of snow as they plow the area as often as they can but the amount of trucks running through putting chains on creates a lot of slush and water that's where your big uncomfortable situation comes is doing this in a sloppy wet snowy Frozen watery mess watering Mass this is why I use Auto socks

It is not a good idea to put chains on your front drive axle if one breaks they can go underneath the second set and lock up both tires on that side causing you to jackknife this is a rare situation but it is 100 percent fact my uncle had it happen to him
