I installed this same cover on my 2019. But now my tailgate will not open automatically.

David - I just installed this on my 2020 Sierra yesterday and had the same issue. I found that the perfect balance for tailgate operation and no leaking is to move the cover 3/8" closer to the cab than shown in this video. The tailgate now drops on its own and doesn't leak.
