"Magisk" is only for rooting an Android by applying a patch the boot partition, works on almost all phones. Here this dude is patching TWRP ..don't know why. TWRP(s) will only work for the particular phone it is made for, patching will not work. So far there is no TWRP available for MT67xxx and many other similar chip based phones.
