How to Install TYPE S 9005/9006 Ultra LED Fog Lights On a 2012-2015 Chevy Silverado

@TypeSAuto I seen these led bulsb at autozone. I’m use to other 3 favorite brand like Lasfit, Auxito, and Sylvania led and zevo led. But when I saw these led bulbs. The construction of the led bulb design was very familiar. And Philips use this same bulb design. The characteristics is simply correct, with nice two sided led diodes that’s small as halogen coil filament. Are they CSP LED CHIPS? What is the warranty on them? And do they have a set screw for adjustable collar for fixing the orientation?

Hi Toyotabrony - thanks for reaching out. They do have CSP LED chips and that size does have set screws to adjust the collar. Warranty is 1 year, plus a 2nd year when registered at typesauto.com/register.

I installed these. The RGB works but the Bright normal white mode doesn’t. Any help?

Do I need the black box it came with to get the lights to change color

How do you rotate the pigtail if the clip locks only one way?

Thanks for reaching out. Just unclip, rotate, and plug back in. The connection should be secure, but if you are concerned about it unplugging, use electrical tape or zip ties for peace of mind.
