I mean for filling air it takes 10rs For buying such device at 3k why not just get it checked whenever possible in the same cost we can check almost 300 times. Even if we say we check pressure weekly i.e. 4times in month then too its merely 100 times If we consider this system lasts for 3 years then too its not at all viable we have not even factored the wheel alignment and wheel balancing costs here

Well, I also thought same but the device is like more of safety and convenience sort of feature for old cars which does not come with factory fitted TPMS. It rings an alarm if your tyre losing air rapidly (puncture situation) So, helps you to never face flat tyre or to maintain air pressure with almost (98% accuracy) I use Michelin tyre pressure guage to double check and also the sensor can calibrate tyre rotation through settings, also you can see the temp of each tyre too.

You won't feel much for one punctured tire for Tubeless type. By the time you eventually notice it would have had damaged the tires quite a bit. Specially for cars with high side profile tires. And also by the the time you notice you may be left last populated area and have to change wheel alone in some dark place while stuck with family. So compare that risk with rs 3000/-.

You don’t get live tyre temps and pressure just filling air, which is free by the way if you fill cold with your own compressor. You’re comparing apples to oranges. Also you don’t need to pay for alignment again, only balancing.

You don't understand the function of TPMS, when you running on a busy street and your tire losing it's pressure you can put your car slowly at the side street and change your tire or inflate, if you don't have monitor you can be stack up in the middle of the traffic road.

Good for pressure indication but it shows misleading temperatures. For me in cold weather it is showing 38 to 46 deg C. Outside temp. Is about 28 deg C.
