How to install/uninstall Spicetify (Easy Installer and Powershell)

Hey everyone, just a quick update! I stopped updating and working on the Spicetify Easy Installer a while ago due to a busy schedule. If anyone is interested in continuing development, the GitHub repo is open-source. I hope you enjoyed the video and found the installer helpful! For the most part, Spicetify Installer works well, but I know some users encounter issues like the installer not opening or stopping mid-installation. These problems are often related to the user's system settings, such as false positives from antivirus software or firewall restrictions. Hey bro when I copy that code to my powershell it doesn't do that coding of installation rather shows red error text

I would suggest trying the installer that i made bcuz some people have tried it and said that it fixed there errors but if you prefer powershell can you send me a screenshot of what it says on discord? My discord is innocentrag

Theres many reasons why it shows a red error so without any context i am very limited to help you but if you join the spicetify discord server then create a ticket and screenshot the error and ask about it or you can also try the installer i made because some people have said that it works

I tried using ur installer and i installed it and it gave me two options uninstall and repair that's all but nothing changed in my spotify app tho ! and may i send u the screenshot of error ? @@innocentrag

everytime i use powershell installer spotify doesn’t stay the same anytime i restart my pc, is there a way to keep it?

using the first method, it says that it cant locate my spotify location and i need to define the path, ( made sure to delete and reinstall spotify from website), I dont know how to find the path or define it

I made an installer for all of the apps I made so you have to install the installer first github.com/innocentrag/IR-Development/releases You can put it through virus total if you don't trust and run a virtual machine to see what it does but it basically just uncompresses the files to the chosen path but by default is programsx86

if your trtna uninstall spicetify using the installer then just click uninstall but if you want to use powershell then insert these commands in powershell spicetify restore rmdir -r -fo $env:APPDATA\spicetify rmdir -r -fo $env:LOCALAPPDATA\spicetify

So the reason for that is because i forgot to add an error handling so if it does that then that most likely means you tried installing as soon as you got done uninstalling so in order to fix that then just close the installer and then open it again and if it still does that then i would suggest uninstalling the installer and then installing it again
