For me, the ideas in kzbin.infoUgkxAfqpMLyFn37qcqUl0FAzqkkycQeXqrhP Plans were a starting point for building different sheds . Ryan gives ideas that allow an individual to draw nicest conclusions into the design and building of his or her own shed.

A better close up view of the actual mitre cuts and how they fit together at the peak is all that is needed to have made this a great teaching video

J trim should be proud nailed every 8"-12", leaving 1/16 clearance for expansion under the nail head. The 16" nailing schedule mentioned for J trim is the spacing for the siding panel nails or screws.

Did good except for flashing your windows. The headlap is a common mistake most people make. When installing the flashing tape your head lap goes directly against the structure. That way if water gets behind the housewrap the headlap flashing pulls it back away from the structure

An oscillating tool works real good for those hard cuts on the J-channel.

the J-trim doesn't really fit into the corner pieces. You can force it, but it doesn't really fit. Ideally you should trim the corner piece also.

The 6 inch vertical cut up against the fascia box leaves a gap (1/8 in/) that looks like it will let water in to run behind the corner?

Would make sense to cut extra, fold and create a small seam.

That's why you see house wrap required before installation. The siding is not supposed to be 100% water proof but it should repel almost all water unless high wind driven rain occurs

I don't think you are going to get much water there. Plus that's what the house wrap is for.

YOUR CAMERA MAN NEEDS TO BE RIGHT CLOSE TO SEE THE ACTUAL CUTS. ALSO WHY DID YOU NOT ATTACH THE BOTTOM TRIM TO THE CORNER POST.. THEY SEEM TO BE AT LEAST 2 INCHES OR LESS FROM THE CORNER POST IS THAT BECAUSE IS TO THICK GOING INTO THE WALL CORNER TRIM.???????
