Professor Anghelache is truly the GOAT. Take such a complex topic, simplifies under 20 mins. Clear and concise presentation a blind person could follow. I tried this with my MacBook Pro Silicon Chip set, using UTM as my Virtual Machine. The instructions were so clear and theoretical portion was spot on, after a few attempts only two steps weren't accomplished. Buna Treaba

Could this be done with two different clients? I'll explain myself: One client would be on the local network so it would require NAT to connect to the Internet, and the other one would be on a different network than the server and would use a VPN to connect to the server and have internet connectiont throw it. It's basically the same you have done but with two different machines and VPN one being outside the local network. Thany u anyways man, you have been helpful.

Hi there, at 15:57, you entered your VPN server ip address, my question is how to convert VPN server ip address into a hostname ??? for example we don't want to give VPN server ip address to our clients !! we want to give them a hostname instead of ip . do you have any solution for that .?? thnx

Can you please tell me how can i join my physical machine to virtual server from outside the network . Please help me on this 🙏🙏🙏
@VaruStanca3 жыл бұрын
Hello Srikanth. Very simple. You need to connect the virtual machine to Bridge and assign a static IP address from your real network. Then in your router, you need to create a port forward which matches the machine IP address/name to your public IP address and the port number.

Multumesc anticipat.

Salutari. NAT functioneaza Different. Pt aceasta problem foloeste TOR browser. La tor se schimba IP-ul mereu.

It's confusing as to what you're trying to accomplish here. Use a Windows server on your network for NAT ? You're using VM's for everything so the topology is a little confusing. Where is your firewall ?
@VaruStanca4 жыл бұрын
By Adding 2 NIC card. 1 for Private and 1 For Public you create a DMZ. That's the most basic firewall ever.
