(How to) Install Water Filter to BESTWAY Fast Set Pool - 2024 Tips & Advice

2024 BESTWAY FAST SET POOL INSTALL/SETUP VIDEO
This video is still as relevant as it was when I originally posted it. Each year people comment with their thanks for me making the video. Whilst the process wasn't perfect when I recorded it, it was about 90% correct (apart from the plugs) and I guess common sense helped people fix that.
What you need to know is that I came home to the pool already setup by my wife and kids, so I had to roll with how it was. So forgive me if the plug was incorrect or anything else.
THE FIX / THE INSTALL / THE SETUP GUIDE
If you are looking for a fix or help with your BESTWAY Garden Swimming Pool in 2024 this video and the hundreds of comments should give you the insight to help you with installing that filter to the pool, for sure. I'd advise you to read the comments because many people have managed to fit it a different way to what I have, with all of us having success.

This video is here to hopefully help you with Installing the #BestwayWaterFilter to your #Bestway Fast Set Pool. I got soaked because I made a mistake (it was actually my wife but I'm not supposed to mention that for fear of my life, lol) when filling the pool, so DON'T DO what I did! My advice now would be to set everything up before filling the pool and put the plugs on the inside of the pool pointing out.
I had no other option but to customise how I set this up due to the kids and wife already having filled the pool with water before I arrived home, again, fill the pool enough to have it standing but not above the holes where you need to add the filter - as it would be easier this way.
I had to go underwater to do it and then realised I had put them in the wrong way around, even though it still worked it would have been better done the other way and as you'll see in the comments some people have pointed this out.
I'd advise you to read the comments and even drop me a message if you need my opinion on how I did things. I'm not claiming to be the expert here. I followed the instructions and used common sense to get it working based on the situation I was in at the time.

Pump is meant to be connected before you fill the pool and the in pool filter caps are meant to be inserted before the hoses to give the clips something to clamp on to. The Bungs are also meant to be fitted inside the pool.

The build quality is exceptionally good and is safe to be around kids and pets. This one is super quiet and can be kept on while in office meetings, my wife loved it. It shows the temperature right on the unit which is very useful and adding a rotating feature helps to heat up the surrounding, so other people will not fight with you for heat. It is right as described in the description..!! Definitely recommend!!

The stopper goes on the inside of the pool before you fill. THEN connect the pump once the pool is full and remove the stopper from inside and replace with the filter fitting. No water gushing all over you that way.

Perfect video for set up. One thing I do differently is put the rubber bungs on the inside of the pool so you can fit pipes and filter without water pouring out trying to fit pipes.

I think to be fair mate you do it correctly, I unfortunately returned to the home and the pool was already half set up so I just got on with it as it was. My way is probably about 80% correct 🤣🫣😀🙏🤞

Gregory Cooper Yes made complete sense mate. Only flaw I seen was you had the plugs on the outside so to connect the filter you took to plug off and fought with the water to get the filter hose on the overflow. If the plugs are in the inside then connecting the filter is easy and dry of you know what I mean. Luckily I don't have pets mate. I've told me 4yr old no food or pissing in the pool though.

hei, i just bought the very same pump, but i cant figure out why it doesn't work. did you fill it up with water before connecting electricity (from video seems you didnt) or no need? it struggle to start, and nothing moves then.

hi can you explain this better? my pump came with a T like set up. Meaning it has 2 tubes for B and one tube for A, so in total, I have 2 inlets and 1 water jet. where do the 2 inlets go?

The stopper goes on inside the pool so you can put the hose on the outside without water loss.. Then pull the stopper from the inside and replace with the filter.

@@thecoopermanproject one thing worth mentioning is that I had put the rubber bungs on the inside of my pool so I didn't have to worry about water leaking out when I put the hoses on. I put the hoses on first and then took the bungs out. Does that make sense?

The bungs are supposed to be in the inside of the pool. That way you can connect the hoses before you remove the bungs.

Kobain ideally about 6 - 8 hours a day. It pumps on average 1000 litres an hour. So it depends on the capacity of your pool. Longer is better though. It can't harm it.

Kobain I use clearwater multifunction tablets. They contain chlorine, algaecide and clarifier. You will need a 5" floater to put them in. They dissolve over 3-5 days. Remove floater when pool is in use. You will also need water test strips to keep an eye on the levels as chlorine should be between 1 - 3 ppm (parts per million). A pool skimmer to get leaves and debris off the surface and a pool hoover for dirt on the bottom, with pump running water should last for a good length of time.. Also cover pool when not in use. Hope this helps.

The blue water stopper goes on the inside of the pool so you don’t get that water pressure coming out so you can hook on the tubes without water coming out. It’s also to stop the water coming through when you’re changing the filter you have to put those blue stoppers on the inside of the pool.!!

You don’t have to put anything on to stop water from coming out when changing the filter,Just hold pump above water line & unscrew pump & replace filter then re-screw lid on pump & put pump back on floor & wait for it to fill then unscrew top air purge to get water out.

100% spot on. Two books that say to read instructions carefully but no instructions lol just lots of warnings. so I've just done mine. best tip outside this video, I put the stoppers on the insidewhile filling up. that way I don't need to fight the water to plug the flexi-pipe in. then to move stoppers to insert the inlet outlet valves and fasten with clamps. let water fill filter then unscrew to release air. tighten then switch on. took 7 hours to fill it!

To avoid wrinkles in the liner , fill the pool with a few inches of water. Get into the middle of the pool and push them outwards .
