Btw there's a new CEO and he restored everything and refunded people. He even said he won't take down Wirepod and might even give the keys for vector to modify his system!!!

DDL's CEO hasn't changed, same guy since the beginning. I've found no reports that refunds have actually happened, but still see complaints about fighting for them with no luck. The servers do seem to be back, just not sure I would trust it. Personally, my bet is the recent moves are down to the lawsuit DDL is facing over taking money without proving products, servers, ability to cancel, or get refunds.

@anoraker There is a new CEO for Ddl Zack Anton. Unfortunately turned out it was a fake Account who told us he would give the Keys and won't take down Wirepod. The only reason I'm even caring about ddl is because I want them to give the keys to unlock vector and modify them. After that they are pretty much useless for me.

Openweathermap wasn't working because there is delay to new key activations, they could take several hours to start working. Great instructional video

I have an existing key from a while back that just wasn't working for me either at that point. I think the service was down when I was making the video... but couldn't be sure. Only thing to do was demonstrate the other service. Thanks for watching!

Can vector see items you put in front of it and answer questions about it... like if I put a flashlight in front of it and ask.. what is this. Will it be able to identify it as a flashlight? Or if I hold it up to a a soda fountain and ask which of these drinks is the healthiest, will it be able to answer? For that type of money it should

I can't say I can recommend buying one anywhere, to be honest. The main company that sells them still hasn't earned my trust, and hasn't fulfilled all existing orders last I heard.

Alas I haven't. In theory "Enable intent-graph" will let you avoid using "I have a question" at least for the initial query. It'll fail Vector's regular AI and forward on to the LLM. But I have a question seems to be needed to continue conversations. And even skipping it for the first prompt sometimes fails for me.

Currently, no. OpenAI (and other LLMs based on it), Together, and Houndify are your options.

The company that was making Vectors disappeared there for a couple years. They say they are back... but tons of people never got their orders delivered. Not sure I'd trust them yet to sell you a new one. But as soon as you can get one, you can immediately head to Wirepod.

Yes, you can put wirepod on Android but then your Android device will need to be on and near Vector for him to work. And yes, Wirepod is free.

Your computer IS wirepod, so is required for Vector's smarts. You could install wirepod on something like a Raspberry pi thats always running.

Hello, if you're trying to log in with the original Vector app, the company behind it (DDL) doesn't have working servers anymore, so the app will never work. You can check my other video on how to get Vector running (without an app) on a local computer you provide.
