Some tips! :) - Longer, thicker locs? Consider a wig with more volume (like the second wig in this video, afro, etc.) instead of a bone straight wig - Longer, thicker locs, newer locs with thicker ends? Try smaller flat twists. I did 12. Maybe try 14-20 - Twists are easier (for me) to do than braids. - Twists are easier to compress than braids. - Twists are more malleable; they’re easier to bend at the ends than braids.

I’ve never worn a wig before, I didn’t think it would look right with locs, but okay. I’m not cutting my locs but I want to give them a break. I like feeling free and giving my hair fresh air, for growth. I also don’t like gels or edge control because of the build up, and it doesn’t work with my hair texture. How do you scratch your scalp wearing a wig though? I like that you made it look so flat on your head with all that hair. That Bob wig is the only wig style I would wear, very nice taste. Beautiful!

Watched this yesterday and tried it today right before work. I have locs that are a little thicker but about the same length as yours. When I tell you the twists did it....HONEY! I had some haters today at work. 😂😂😂 Cuz they know I have locs and my wig install looked better than theirs. 😂 SN: I haven't had a retwist in a few months so I have some loose new growth. I pulled some of it forward and flat ironed it and left that part out of the wig cap. Then I pulled the loose hair back over the top of the half wig and put some hair clips and a headband over the space where my hair blended into the wig. People were saying it looks like my natural hair. Thank you for sharing this method. ❤

@@ImaniGoodridge Doesn’t take that long at all! I live in the Gulf South so all I have to do is walk outside on a sunny day and within the hour I’m dry. (I’ve also thought about hanging my hair out the car window on the way to work, but it might make too many cars wreck from the stares. LOL!!!!!) I’m actually having a hard time finding some of those extra large wig caps down here and so far, *no* wigs with extra large caps. If you know of a company that sells any online, I’d appreciate the tip.

This is sooooo much better than your first video of how to tuck your dreadlocks under a wig. You had an ANT shape (hump) in the back of that first video and on this video with the short wig, and on both videos your dreads in the front were still exposed…A for effort and again much better than that first video.
