it works well for me but after I installed the additions @5:12 the VM freezes on the Windows 11 desktop after getting past the login screen. This is the second time I've created the VN and both times this has happened. Any updates or advice? Edit: Enabling 3D Acceleration in the VM Display Settings fixed it... for now lol

I used the media creation tool for creating an ISO. But, when I load it in VirtualBox, It detects the ISO as other windows. But nevermind, I set the requirements of windows 11 in the machine. And when i load it. It loads as windows 11, but then, it says this pc can't run windows 11, even if I set requirements, what do I do? The windows ISO is still original, Isn't it?

Step 1: After you receive the “This PC can’t run Windows 11” on VirtualBox, you need to restart the VirtualBox. Step 2: Then, press the Shift + F10 keys together to open the command line window on the first page of windows 11 installation. Step 3: Type regedit and press the Enter key to open Registry Editor. Ste 4: Then, go to this path - Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup. Step 5: Right-click the Setup key, then, choose New and click Key. Name it as LabConfig. Step 6: Click LabConfig and right-click the empty space to select the DWORD (32-bit) Value option. Name it as BypassTPMCheck. Double-click it to change the value data to 1, and press OK. Step 7: Right-click the empty space to select the DWORD (32-bit) Value option. Name it as BypassCPUCheck. Double-click it to change the value data to 1, and press OK. Hey, same problem here. This worked for me: Settings > System > untick "floppy" from the boot order section Then General > Advanced. At the top you will see an input box "Snapshot Folder:" containing the path to the directory where your virtual machine is stored. Open file explorer, locate this folder, and locate all the .iso files with "unattended" in the file name. Hope this helps : )

Can anyone help me with this? I tried going to 'settings'' under my virtual machine. Went to Storage, clicked on the blue disk titled 'Empty' and selected the other blue disk next to the drop-down menu (on the top right-hand corner) where you can select your optical drive. I selected my Windows 11 ISO file and clicked 'Open', but when I did so it disappeared and I wasn't able to use it. Any ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated!! Edit: Lmao I'm dumb, I forgot to confirm it wasn't a 'suspicious file' or whatever so the system wouldn't let me use it

Question, is this 100% fully independent from your real OS system. The main reason I want to do this is to avoid viruses. For example, I want to test a software that I am not sure on it's legitimacy. Will this keep my actually machine safe if this virtual machine gets a virus?

If you are going to be doing a lot with malware on the virtual machine, just make sure to disconnect the virtual machine's internet from your local network. While malware on a virtual machine can't access the host machine (your pc) directly, it can very easy exploit network vulnerabilities to get onto your network, and infect machines on your network.

I watched this through several times and set up exactly as suggested but I am unable to get this to work on my machine in either Virtual-Box or on a clean install to an SSD. Maybe in late 2024 this option has been disabled by Microsoft or the hack will work on some machines and not others.

No, thats not specifically for operating system, it is for the storage that you want to serve for the machine. It is not directly allocated from you base storage, it is just set so it automatically collects it when needed

If it's that this machine doesnt meet minimum windows 11 requirements. Go to settings and make sure the selected cores are atleast 2 and ram is 4gb ram and restart your virtual machine and then press any keyboard key to start boot

If you want to learn about virtual machines then go research and read about them. "Most people" watching this video are here for the tutorial. Your reasoning for not liking this video is your own fault. The video title clearly states what this video contains. It's your own fault for reading it and thinking it meant something else...
