Hello Rod, when I apply those settings and change the port, my MAMP gives this error that even your port 8888 is used. The most interesting thing is that when I install MAMP, the htdocs file does not have a folder in it and is empty. Yesterday, when I installed the website design course 2, it was ok, but I wanted to install it from the beginning, and I downloaded it 10 times, but it didn't work. Thanks for your help♥

PLEASE help I am almost done I am on my macbook air and when im on phpmyadmin there is no utfi_general_ci. there is no option with an underscore after 8, everything with 8 has mb3 following before the underscore

The best way is to reinstall your mamp installation

The username when you’re on the local host and are inserting the database name.. Where does that username and password come from?
