Can you detail exactly what parts are needed to install the passenger seat (brackets, screws, nuts, etc.)? I don't think my kit came with all the parts necessary and I'm having a hard time finding somewhere that lists exactly what I would need.

Hello, sorry this video was shot several years ago and we do not recall all the part numbers that came with packaging. All these parts were Yamaha parts. The video explains which hardware comes with the seat kit and which hardware is stock/reused. Take notes of what you think you are missing and contact the place where you purchased the passenger seat.

I don't think one is offered from Yamaha, maybe the aftermarket has one that is thicker and will work.

Probably a very dumb question but what are the name of the two screws to install the passenger pegs. I bought a set of passenger pegs like that which no two screws to install on the bike.

Hello, if you are referring to the hardware to secure the passenger peg mounts to the motorcycle frame, just ask your local motorcycle shop for passenger peg mounting bolts (for your specific year/make/model). If you are referring to the hardware that secures the passenger pegs to the mounts, you'll need a cotter pin bolt/clevis pin bolt and the cotter pin or clevis pin.

What are the fender bolt size that come in the kit? One of my fender bolt holding the sissy bar bracket fell off during my road trip.

Sorry we do not have the kit available so we cannot say for sure. Maybe try removing the bolt you have and measuring it or taking it to the hardware store to find a match.

Do you have to detach anything with the rear turning signal lights? Or just have someone hold it temporarily?

Hey there Josh. The turn signal was not removed from the frame rail. It is attached from the backside. We just utilized Matt's extra hands and he held it while the other brackets were installed. If by chance you wanted to remove or relocate the turn signals, you would trace the wires forward... unplug them at the factory connector, pull them through the frame and then undo the retaining nut on the backside of the turn signal stalk. The nut will slide over the wires and the wires will slip out of the mounting hole when the turn signal stalk is removed from the frame rail. Hope that paints a good enough picture. how did you get the passenger pegs to fit?? I got the kit for just the pegs, and they're yamaha parts, but the holes for the bracket and pegs dont match, and get even worse with the washers... only thing I can think of doing is hacking away at the rubber of the pegs.

+Tom Meixner hey Tom, is it that they don't quite line up? Try pushing the end of the peg towards the bike--it might take a bit of effort. Basically you need the need of the washer to help smoosh the rubber part of the peg to line up the holes.
