Is it normal that there's layers to those? like i installed them like in the video, the next day it was loose around the edges. So i pulled it off, leaving the design on the frame but the thicker plastic part came off. Is that wanted or did i do something wrong?

Just finished doing the top tube in my Kenevo. I left the TCU in and set the vinyl wrap on top of it. Once I had the area above and below the TCU adhered to the top tube, I used a box cutter to cut around the edge of the TCU. Then I used a heat gun. No issues. Take your time. No matter what I did, I still had 2 small (1mm) sz bubbles near the seat post. I’m good with it though, just noticeable for us with OCD. ✌🏽

In my reasearch entry lvl bikes (cheap bikes) have a terrible paint job because some bikes have no smooth paint layer (just pure paint) Compare to high end bikes with paint jobs usually have a layer protection . The real problem with bike skin is that the paint can be peeled off if your remove your film (especially for cheap bikes or any bike without any paintjob layer) Check first your bike if the dry film doesn't scrape any paint .

@thejudgeandthedodger6086

Hi Scotty, When you remove the films, it may leave a glue residue. I find that industrial methylated spirits works well to remove the glue, and not damage the original paintwork. if you don't have that, then use readily available from any pharmacy, Isopropyl alcohol 70%, also works well. (basically like a hand sanitizer....)

Very hard to apply even with a heat gun. I have a new frame and I used ethanol to degrease the surface. I followed all instructions but this protection film unsticks from the edges after few minutes. Sticking back with a heat gun doesn't help. If you overheat it, it can separate in two layers. I wasted money and all day. Low quality. Do not recommend.
