THANK YOU SO MUCH OMGGGG IVE BEEN WORKING FOR DAYS IT WORKEDDD ok ok. i did everything in the video. zabbix appliance is on vmware on guest. and then on my windows host machine i installed zabbix agent. and both work :D zabbix agent shows green. thank u so much

Sorry, no matter what settings I use, I cannot set a manual IP address to the VM's interface. On NAT I get a 10.x.x.x class IP. The host is using also a manual IP address. Even though on NAT a get connectivity to hosts in my LAN, viceversa I can't. On bridged mode I've followed the instructions in the video, but upon saving and restarting the network, inet doesn't show up on ip addr sh eth0. I'm pretty sure the settings are right. I can't understand why is doesn't work. Host : Windows 11 (VirtualBox 7). Appliance ver 6.4.11.

I have the same problem and not sure as to why. likely if you are running a DHCP server or use a proxy it can interfere.

update the file : sudo nano /etc/resolv.conf add this line: nameserver 8.8.8.8 nameserver 8.8.4.4 save the file and exit. then try out dnf upgrade, it will work.
