This was an excellent walk-through. Thanks so much for sharing. I've got one question: how would this work for membership subscriptions in Kajabi? How would Kajabi know when to trigger Thrivecart to charge a member?

Would the process you describe automatically add the upsell in Kajai as well as the main product? or are there further steps to do for the upsell?

I would love to know, too.

Thanks so much for this Welmoed. There were a few things I got lost on during this process and wondering if you could help. In ThriveCart I created an upsell ... will customers see this or get directed to kajabi thank you page? Also in Kajabi it was hard to find the link to the Thank You Page so I had to create an additional page. Was this correct? Then in Zapier the test showed details to a different product from ThriveCart (the most recent) does this matter or is it just to get connected? Lastly I had to contact Kajabi support to request all external ids be email addresses. Is this correct and how important is it? Apologies for all the questions and thanks again x

Hi Lauren! Thanks for your kind words! Here is some extra information about upsells. You can either run them through ThriveCart completely: support.thrivecart.com/help/creating-a-funnel-and-upsell-pages/ or you can run them through your own website and then connect that to ThriveCart: support.thrivecart.com/help/using-your-own-custom-upsell-pages/ In Kajabi I recommend you create your own Thank You page indeed, and then select that page in the Offer on the right hand side. In Zapier it should show all your ThriveCart Products and you'd need to select the right one. If you don't see it there, make sure to check in ThriveCart if it's Live, and then refresh the page in Zapier. If you still don't see it, log out of Zapier and then log back in again. It may take some time for it to show in Zapier. You did the right thing by contacting Kajabi to request the ids to be email addresses! :-) It's important when you're selling multiple offers, and people are buying more than one offer from you. This ensures this all gets added to their one account, and prevents problems with the sales process. No worries about the questions, happy to answer them! Welmoed

Hey Welmoed, thanks for the really great explanation! One question- how did you set up your kajabi tax? Did you install quaderno, connect them with stripe, paypal and kajabi in parallel? In addition instead of Quaderno you use then thrivecart as checkout option? Thank you so much!

I can't get an error message: No data was found when I use zapier. What am I doing wrong? I've tried it at least 10 times.

Hi. Great video! Thanks a lot! Can this thrivecart also be embedded on a page within kajabi so the user never have to leave your kajabi site to do the purchase? And will kajabi be updated with the sales statistics from thrivecart?

Happy to hear this is helpful! Thanks for your kind words! Yes you can embed a checkout page on a page within Kajabi :-) Here's how: 1. Where you select your cart type (see 9.31 min in the video above: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJOvYpeaicynebs) you'd select 'Embeddable' 2. Edit the checkout via Launch Editor (same proces as to when you'd have a regular checkout page) 3. Follow the 'next' buttons until you get to the "checkout urls" (let me know if you need help finding this!). 4. You now have three options: 1) embed the checkout straight onto your page in Kajabi, 2) add a button to your Kajabi page that when clicks 'unfolds' the checkout on the kajabi page itself, 3) add an image to your Kajabi page that when clicked will 'unfold' the checkout page below it, still inside your Kajabi page. Choose one of those 3 options and copy the embed code. 5. Add the embed code to your Kajabi site, either by using a Custom Code section, or by using a Text block where you'd then go into the < > area (top left) to paste the embed code. Click Save. 6. Open the Kajabi page to test the action if you're using a button/image. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any more questions!

Welmoed Verhagen Super helpful thanks! I will try this :) But i guess Kajabi doesnt update the sales numbers?
@AskWelmoed4 жыл бұрын
Norsko sorry, I forgot to answer that question! 🙈 Sales tracking in the sense of revenue generated etc: unfortunately not, which makes it harder to get to the different Hero levels Kajabi offers. Any outside sales tool will have this issue though, it’s not specific to ThriveCart. Let me know what you create! :-)

When I added a Zap for a bump I received this message "Test action (error)". Do I have to be in Live mode for this test to pass? I also do did not see further information about the error.
