I’m 21 and make $3400ish per month. If I max out my Roth tsp at 12% a year the calculator says I can potentially have 22M by the time I’m 60. I think I’m gonna max out 😂

At 8:55 you show the graph of investing 95 dollars monthly to be a millionaire. I did the math but I don’t understand what the numbers in the graph mean, why does the monthly savings get higher every 5 years? Sorry if I sound stupid I would gladly appreciate if someone could briefly explain this to me.

I'm 21, got $8000 in cash as my savings, going to finish my 2 years in community college to then transition to a 4 years to finish my bachelors in Accounting, have no debt, own a couple stocks but no recurring investments. What steps do I need to take in order to be financially stable?

I also work part-time because of school, so I don't earn as much, but I still want to get a higher income and set aside 20% of my earnings and open a Roth IRA

How much do you save a month? How much emergency savings do you need? I'd put some of that savs 30% or so in a high interest savs account and start invensting in a target date retirement fund.

I’m 20 and joining the Air Force. Should i invest in a 2040 target fund if I plan on retiring in 20 years or 2060 just in case I get out early?

2060 because it will be more aggressive. 2040 has more G fund because it is less aggressive and thus less reward.

I think 2060 since you’re only 20!

Definitely 2060. When you get out, chances are you will find another job. You probably don't really want to retire at age 40 and have nothing to do until you die.

Just do the Roth C Fund. The C Fund is basically an Index 500 (S&P 500). And don’t make the mistake of cashing out, leave your TSP funds alone when you get out.

I'm in my mid 20s and kind of wanting to invest big on cannabis because what I got from a previous video that it's ok to take risk in your 20s since I'd have more time make up for a loss? Or is speculative investing not the way to go?
