You wont get rich with it to get rich there are 3 options 1) have a phD university diploma in a field that is well paid 2) lauching a very sucessfull buisness (you sell more than you invest) 3) this is the reason of 70% of world wealth. HERITAGE! The big house in los angeles that your grandpa bought in 1970...who then lend it to your father who also bought a house in 2003...if you sell those 2 houses. You are MILLIONAIRE

I have challenged myself to put away 50% of my monthly income into dividend stocks which is quite easy since I live frugal at 32 without debt. I work as an account executive, and make over $2000. $1000 goes into dividends, and the other $1000 covers my my food plus living expenses. I am seeing improvements in my portfolio, dividends look certain, but I have to attribute this to only to guidance of a licensed fund manager who allocates funds to a plethora of assets. I have to stay disciplined, and remember that I’m in it for the long term. Good luck to everyone and thanks for the great video.

Plus he gave you some great reading material to choose from to grow your knowledge from other great names out there or from him as well if you like his teaching style. The hardest thing about investing is the fact everyone is trying to take your money or sell a book. I think its best to educate yourself on one product and start from there. There's way too much misinformation and product placement. Most of the time I read books I already know the answer and the get you from A to B while failing to lead you to C. I wish there was a one stop for knowledge but there isn't.
@kevinh87865 жыл бұрын
Some folks are upset that he provided no info about how to invest 1,000, but he did. Educate yourself on investing. For those who don't want to spend money on the books can read through Warren Buffet's annual letters for free. But the biggest tip in my opinion is to buy good companies that are undervalued due to some CORRECTABLE event eg Chipotle back when they were have all those food poisoning problems.

To make it even simpler, Buffet would also recommend for the average person to just invest in an index fund with low fees. An example would be VFINX. When buffet buys something he makes sure that it's good enough to hold onto forever. In general, he doesn't sell. The trick is that you just have to make sure that you don't overpay. The stock market has been racing upward and is probably due for a pullback soon.

I was afraid to invest due to my ignorance. I was also afraid I had no other options available to me outside of the traditional offerings from a bank or credit union. I don't have a financial background so how could I make my small balance grow and not pay a chunk to a financial planner? I did find mutual funds (in the 70s) but I could see those were getting saturated by all those others who found them. Their great returns were waning. So, now what? About then my son found your book, Rule #1, when it was first published. You demonstrated how the Internet gave me an advantage because of my small balance. I could nimbly take advantage of what the stock market had to offer. Hurray! I began paper-trading and learned how fickle the stock market is. I opened a broker account and started buying stocks. Now, I'm following your path, "Uncle Phil". I listen to your podcast. I'm reading just about every book you recommend (I have Phil List). The Rule #1 family - Uncle Warren, Uncle Mohnish, Uncle Guy, Uncle Phil, Uncle Ben, etc. - is a wealth of information and confidence-building resource They have made it possible for me to understand and gain a new skill: growing my money. I have learned through a construction project and, well, just life: There is no contractor or other outside source that cares about what I own more than myself. Only I desire to forge ahead to a 15-18% return on my money. Most brokers scoff at that. But, I believe it to be attainable and, through my uncle-mentors, I'm getting there and confident I can do even better!

The first and maybe the most important thing in investing is to have interest. If you do not have this you will most likely fail longer down the road however if you do have an interest for money and investing you will learn about it naturally. First you might ask people in your surrounding how they invest, second advice could be read a lot regarding the subject you intrested in. You can find loads of information and books by just serching google for the topic you after. Many people just need to find the right attitued in investing. New investors usually think that you have to "gamble" the money however what you must understand is that, yes you can gamble your money "or" you can invest your money in a mature way which you feel comfortable in. For example when buying a stock you should ask yourself a number of questions, 1. What do I know about this company 2. How do the company make their money 3. How is the company ran 4. What's the future of this company 5. How much money is this company valued and what price do it sell for and so on... for the 5th example "valueation" it's tricky and you will make misstakes but even the greatest investors around the world finds it hard to valueate from time to time depending on the current market and the future of the market. If you don't know or to lazy to learn you could always invest in "investing companies" which buissness model is investing in other, hopefully good buissnesses that will generate and make your money grow over time. There are numerous of this kind of coampnies out there for you to look at. And to finish this little advice letter, investing and making your savings grow is a question about time. Most money invested properly will generate more money over "time". So what I'm saying is "time" is one of the most important things in investing your savings. Best of luck Henrik

The point of this video is not to hand-feed an easy 1.2.3. Step by step in 8mins. He’s giving resources to help people make educated decisions for themselves, based on their own needs. Invest in yourself by educating yourself, so you know what to do with not only the first 1k, but thousands beyond.

A truth is, it takes money to make money. It is very romantic to imagine investing 1000 dollars and coming out a millionaire in 5, 10 20 years. If you don't get some sort of big break, lump sum or something of the sort, its not gonna happen. Keep it real Phil! keep it real.

Rule no.1: never, ever self-trade. Get yourself a professional trader, an expert in crypto trade and you're sure to be on the right track
@adamford61165 жыл бұрын
Let me share this with you, my red days never ceased till I got Robertson MacDonald, my trader, to manage my trades for me. He's made me so much money that I'm able to diversify into real estate investment and now, I've also got one of the best real estate broker, Ethan Collins, doing my sh*t for me. So you see, it's more about being in the right hand than just yourself.

Hello!!! I'm new to investing and the big question I have: I'm planning on investing for a long term, slow gain. Looking at the DIV/YIELD number, how to you determine WHEN this occurs? Is this value always shown based upon it being Quarterly? Or is there a places stating that Company A @ 1.2% pays out monthly, Company B @ 3% quarterly, and Company C @ 5% yearly? Cause wouldn't A, if all factors are the same, be the best value here, since their yearly would be 13.4%?

How do you pick out your stocks? I read your book and think buying a stock on sale is obviously the best method to use....but how do you find these companies. My knowledge is only so big in the companies I know of and use on a day to day basis. It sounds as if you invest into companies often, yet I have no idea where to even start because every company I see isn’t on sale.

Yes but I got over it. I started investing in my own business and other people businesses. My family has a family run business so I put some money down and I double it. And lesson learn, take like 10% has rental, 90% for reinvestment. Ones you double your money, take half, to invest in something else and let the other half grow and pay you. The 10% can be adjusted to your need. But this adds up quickly and soon it can sustain you

He is using ridiculous claims and the symbols of wealth to sell you a program that can’t provide the results he is offering. Tai Lopez is an insurance salesman that purchased some dating sites and is now selling the 67 steps to getting anything you want out of life: wealth, health, love, and happiness. He claims that his success is because of the mentors he has had in his life.
