Good idea. Though some children may have other dreams and questions to answer in their future, like moving to Canada, USA, UK etc. However, you may be lucky to have one of them with similar dreams as yours, then you have to prepare him on how to handle shares for his siblings in case they will need to sell part of the farm. Also, mentor them on how to handle sibling disagreements. Look at William and Harry, both sons of the late Princess Diana!!! Children are children and may change when they become adults.

99 percent of the young people don't like farming, they all focus on entertainment, that is by the way, you are doing a good job, high breeds is easier to get in Uganda in my country Nigeria it difficult to get.maybe i will relocate to Uganda and start a farm

Grace you are an amazing farmer. I have also been involving my children in the family farming business but what I have not paid attention to is the issue of financial compensation. We always take it for granted that since they are our children they don't need compensation. We are wrong. I think lack of appreciation for their contributions is the reason they lose interest in farming. Thanks for the lessons learnt.
