I am getting a lot of questions on this!!! I THOUGHT/SAID in the video I was using parchment paper! However, a CLOSER LOOK....I grabbed the wrong thing..lol It is WAX PAPER.. I am a hot mess some days... BUT, EITHER works for me. As you can see in this video, I had no issues with the wax paper! I hope this clears up any more questions. Sorry for the confusion..lol Your girl thought she grabbed the parchment paper...haha

I love your napkin decoupage videos. I did a napkin on a pallet for Halloween for my daughter. It turned out so nice that I wanted to keep (but I didn't) I buy napkins for all seasons now. So, thank you for these videos, for the great pop ups and for your sense of humor. I'm one happy girl (not really a girl anymore, l'm 62, but girl sounds better than old lady 😂) when I see a new video from you.

Thanks for this video Brandi. I love all your videos but especially love the ones where you do all the explaining, you make everything so clear for when I want to do something. I keep a lot of your videos so that I can go back and listen again if I’m going to do something that you’ve done, thank you. Your projects always look awesome when you finish them. This is your channel Brandi and you do you, the way you want to do it. You do so much crafting and you show us what works best for you. It annoys me when people think they can tell someone what to do or how to do it . They are free to do what they want their way but you know what works for YOU and they have no right to tell you that their way is better. You just keep doing YOU. I love all of your videos for that reason. TFS and please have a great week. Look forward to your next video.

I started decoupaging in the 80s with diluted Elmer's glue when I was in my teens and in the early 90s looooooong before I ever saw KZbin I used napkins in card stock and ironed them into the cardstock with seran wrap in between. I added butterfkies with my own stained glass look invention using clear moving tape and glitter. I have never ever thought of decoupaging onto wood and I find that so strange. That I never thought of that. Just Saturday. Ight for the first time on KZbin I watched a woman decoupage onto cutting boards. For the life of me I cannot recall her name, I had never seen her before. I worked very late tonight at my FT job and I am too tired to even eat. I thought I would put my legs up for a bit and check out what the crafting world is doing. Your alert was the first one to appear, and what do you know, another video on decoupaging onto wood. I am known as the napkin queen. Going back to when I was 10 years old I collected napkins at church luncheons on Easter. My mom called me her little Martha Stewart as I would bring the napkin home, iron it and use it in the middle of our Easter table as a doillie with our flowers in the middle. I also ironed napkins onto canvas with seran wrap in between to make wall art. I love your method and I had an idea for you too if it is ok to me tion this to you. Sometimes I find it's hard to get a large piece of sandpaper into the nooks and crannies of your wood plaque. I find it is easier when needing to sand a simple edge using an Emory board (nail file). I use them for lightly sanding my wooden beads when by the hole there are little pieces of wood shavings. I bought a dragonfly wooden shape from Dollar Tree and the wing edges were rough and the Emory board was easy to meneuver (forgive my spelling, spell check is not helping me) around the wings easier. You can go faster too with an Emory board and not catch the top part as bad either. Just a suggestion I hope that is ok. I never want to hurt anyone's feelings. I agree with one of your other fans who said the people that condem you should then be creative and be on KZbin. My mother use to tell us kids always to be respectful and never point fingers and condem because when you point tiur finger, you have 3 coming back at you. Thank you for a cool craft idea. I am living in a sea of boxes right now and haven't any room to craft in but hopefully soon. Thank you for a great craft to make. Sincerely, Rebekah in VA

Thank you so much for this video. I'm getting ready to work on decoupage on wood. I was just going to do regular way, but I'm going to try iron on method. I did see another KZbinr, Joan-Marie Domino, use plastic wrap instead of Mod Podge. I was going to watch hers over again before I started. Waiting is good for me, because I work on several projects going on. Most of my items seem to be waiting for things to dry. Yeah I'm a wild crafty woman.🥴 I've had that issue with foam brushes to. Here in NM, they dry out so fast even if I have them in a plastic bag. I liked your piece. Blessings and take care.🤗🌻

See... this is exactly WHY I wanted to mention the TIME, because sometimes YOU HAVE THE TIME, and you don't mind waiting. But, a lot just toss out the *this is the best results method* Yes, yes it is, but (on a personal level) I gotta make 4 projects and film, edit for many days plus. I personally LOVE this method but I do not have that time. However, a lot of people do and I want everyone to just know THIS IS THE BEST, if you have that time DO THIS, ya know..lol I am rambling..lol I love a good foam brush but I have paid for it using them to seal stuff..lol Oh those struggles.. I can so relate! You take care as well Lynda. Thank you so much for stopping by!
