When I first tried soft plastics, I watched a small Flathead following my jig, but he wouldn't strike. Finally, I just gave the plastic the tiniest twitch possible. He ate the lure. Thanks for the video. I'm not a muscular person and I get muscle pain after jigging. My wife's a nurse and tells me to take a Nurophen tablet.

Hello Mr. Nabu-San, arigatou for sharing and translating Numata-san workshop. I wonder if you have used Palms rods for shore jigging? I know you use a lot of Major Craft rods as I have seen your other videos. I am looking to buy a dedicated shore jigging rod to fish around auckland, New Zealand (2 - 10 meters deep in metro areas) and I wonder if you have any experiences with Palms rods as well. There's no local shop in NZ that would sell Palms or Major Craft so have to buy based on other's experiences like you, could you share your thoughts?

Hello! I wanna go fishing NZ in the future! Yes I have many Major Craft shore jigging rod and Palms shore jigging rod. and I made video 5 major craft rods impression and 2 Palms rods impression, I like both brand I recommend both brand, Which type (LSJ , L, M MH , H ,HH),depends on your fishing point (1-10m ) , what kind of fish and what size fish you can catch? and maybe no really deep ,so maybe 20g to 40g Metal jig? Anyway both brand light shore jigging rods are good , If you buy cheaper rod for first time, Major Craft has many grade series , cheaper series "First Cast" "Solpara" If you want more better rods , "Crostage" or new "Crosride 5G" or Palm "Shore Gun Evolve" So I think you can choose your feeling, and if you like Shore jigging and enjoy , maybe you will buy second rod.... Sorry my message is not good answer to your Question, but I think you will like both brand rod Thank you!!

@@gogogofishingnabu Arigatou Nabu-san, I was searching on your videos about Palms rods, very interesting thoughts. They look like very nice rods indeed. I am looking mainly for a MH or (X)H rod to use with a 6000 or 8000 size reel to target Kingfish (5kg+ - 75/80cm) and Kahawai (Australian Salmon) which here you can catch them up to 50/60cm and 3kg! so they fight very hard. I am currently using 20 to 40grams jigpara and drag metal jigs. Which are very effective, but I am using my Kayak rod, which is a 7ft rod (40grams max) and it feels a bit short for shore jigging. So I need (want) distance but also power yet not too heavy. I was looking at Palms Shore103XH, but I also wonder if the 103H+ would do too!. Is there an specific model you would recommend? - If you ever decide to come to NZ please get in touch I would happily take out fishing! :)

Hello Nabu-San, good stuff sharing Numata-San shore jigging lecture. Learned a lot from your videos especially from your effort to include English subtitles. I'm wondering how deep your waters are you fishing in Sydney to be using so heavy jigs. Where I fish in Perth Metro rockwalls, waters around 4m to 10m. How to choose jig weight Nabu-San?
@gogogofishingnabu4 жыл бұрын
Hello Mr.Nikiboi 8899 you go fishing at Perth? interesting, in the future, I wanna go to Perth and fishing! 4m to 10m is not deep so maybe 20g to 40g and if water current is strong 40g, and I like metaljig for slow jigging made from zinc(if PALMS JIG , Z light metal -- Slow blatt long, oval and up) these are falling is slow, I think good for shallow area. If you want to use more heavy Jig , I recommend Jigaro QR 60g 80g , this made from Zinc Z light metal,too it makes slow falling, But I m not professional lol , so just for reference Thank you for your message
@nickyong18254 жыл бұрын
@@gogogofishingnabu Thanks very much for recommendation. Yes QR 60g 80g makes sense, quite slow fall I have seen from your friend TsuriKichi video, and can fly further distance. I'm using PE3 and i find 40g jig is not very far distance. Side wind affects my line very much. Should I downgrade line PE? Rod is Xesta Laser Beam The Surf 11H 30-100g PE3 Max, Reel is Sustain 5000FG Ci4. I just learn from your video I need HG or XG. My action will suddenly not syncronize with PG. Now from shore Perth is in peak Mulloway and Pink Snapper season. King Fish land based is very very rare, unless ferry to Rottnest Island and travel to west side of Island. Mostly Samson Fish and Amberjack closer. Mackeral if you lucky on land based. Mostly boat trolling.

Hello Jigaro QR is good, My video I made before, there is a underwater footage kzbin.info/www/bejne/bmXLiGeGrZpoqJI If the rough rocks at the bottom of your fishing ground, worry about downgrade PE, but if not rough rock , PE2.5 or 2 you can try and good for 40g jig , I hope you catch big fish !!!! Thank you!!!

Thank you for your videos. I think to improve audience comprehension, accurate vocabulary must be used. I think you mean "line slack" instead of "line slug" I have learned much from your detailed videos and thank you. Wish to catch my first Kingy after your footsteps.

Hello Thank you for your finding my mistake, yes exactly Line slack , My English was not good lol Yes I hope you catch Kingy soon!! Thank you for your message!!!

I think that Nabu San does an incredibly good job with his videos. Personally I find understanding " line slug" much easier than Kanji. 😂
