Thank you for the demo! I seem to mess up when trying to add the extra stitch then decrease so this was helpful. When doing magic loop your hack is genius! Thank you and I hope your puppy feels better soon.

Thank you so much, Lorrie! And thank you for the good wishes for Moo. It'll be a long road to recovery but he's such a trooper. He'll do great!

Such great ideas for joining! I love that third method with the almost bind off.

Thanks, Heather! It's so tidy, right? I go back and forth between all three methods depending on my mood. :)

Fantastic! The light shone at the second method where you end up doing the K2tog. My reaction was ''What do you know! I didn't know such a method existed!'' No more fiddling with the tips that hurt my fingers! Thank you, thank you. 😁

Thanks for the tutorial. You explain things very well. I have just learned how to use the Magic Loop in the round. I will use your clip tip on my next project.

I've been using the fingers of my left hand to do the job of the claw clip when joining magic loop, but I've had several mishaps and had to start over since things seem so slippery right after casting on with no fabric created yet to stabilize things. I'm grabbing my tiny claw clamp out of my bathroom as soon as I post this comment. Thank you!

Great tips! I also find it helpful to pull on the working yarn as I knit the second stitch of the round - this especially helpful for magic loop though I do like your hair clip idea.

Thanks, Deborah! And thanks for sharing about pulling the yarn snug on the second stitch. I've heard of this method but have not employed it myself so I'm glad to hear it's a good option, too!
