Why every time I watch these braid tutorials they say it only took them 2/3 hours wth kind of fingers do you have 🤦🏽♀️ it takes me at least 4-6 sometimes 8 hours to do these twist, box braids, or Marley twist. And I can do them all.. I hate it just because it takes so freaking long😩😩😩😩

Great tutorial! I gotta get me a beauty school mannequin head and start practicing my Senegalese again with this new method, because I’m from the old school where back in the day I was taught by an African girl to do it the hard way. Which was very taxing on my fingers of each hand. Thumbs and index fingers soar and blistered.

Are you left handed ? I automatically twist left over right but I see a huge different when doing right over left ,BUT my hands get all twisted and confused

Love, love, love these twists! This style would look great on my daughter's hair. She loves long braids and she wants to try twists, and I'd prefer to do them myself. I can braid and cornrow, but I need to perfect my skills and I need to learn to feed in the hair for a longer, neater finish. Thank you so much for this video!

When the hair is already straight, is the shine & jam necessary? I thought that was used for making more textured hair sleek and neat at the roots? Very curious. I prefer this method without the rubber bands and love the tips along the way, like using a smaller amount of hair at the hairline to prevent breakage and using the gel to decrease the amount of fly-aways along the length of the twist. Good job 👍
