The low voltage charged the batteries enough it could output at full voltage ✌️ it's like filling a bath tub with the sink, instead of the tub faucet, once full enough the drain is able to output at full force, but when it is empty, the sink can never get the drain to output more than it is taking in. The drain is the output power of the battery ✌️

14.2V is a completely charged new battery. To get your semi to start I believe you need 12.8 roughly.

12.6V is a Fully Charged New Battery. 14.1V is what Battery Voltage is with the Altenator running. 6 Cells in a Battery each at 2.1V, 6 x 2.1= 12.6V. I started my International today with 10.8 Volts, but it barely turned over and barely fired up.

Only part u missed are the safety glasses which is not cool to wear around young folks + no flip flops period pre/post +as you start to own or lease youll be jump-start after your off time but great tip i bet there are 1000's of newbies who have no idea great tip & Happy Trails

I have been confused about truck batteries a long time. When you have more than 1 battery how do you select the proper terminals? To tell the truth, I should know this but I do not.🦇

Good question, it don’t matter which one, because they are all connected, just be sure to keep positive to positive & negative to negative when attaching the cables.

Great post but you should have a disclaimer for people to do at their own risk. Disconnect your car once your truck voltage is at recommended level before starting your semi. Certain car brands electronics can't handle the load placed on them when the semi truck is turning over.
